Niagara Falls Boat Tours is an independent guide. We are not a tour operator, not a booking platform, and not the company that runs either boat. We do not own, crew or sell tickets for Maid of the Mist or Niagara City Cruises, and we are not affiliated with those operators, with City Experiences, with Niagara Parks or with New York State Parks.
Some links on this site are affiliate links to GetYourGuide and Viator. If you book a tour through one of them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those are the only two affiliate relationships this site has, and we never name a platform we do not actually link to.
What the commission never changes
It does not change the price you pay. It does not change which tour we put first, which is chosen on verified review volume rather than commission rate. And it does not change what we tell you about the product, including the parts that are inconvenient: that the ride is twenty minutes, that the queue can be an hour, that the boats do not run in winter, and that the two boats are close to identical so the choice matters less than most pages suggest.
How ratings on this site work
Every star rating and review count shown here was read from the live GetYourGuide or Viator listing and is attributed to that platform. Where we could not read a rating from a live listing, the product card says so plainly rather than showing a number we cannot stand behind. There is at least one such product on this site, and it stays that way until it is verified.
Operator fares are different from tour prices. The published adult fares, US$30.25 for Maid of the Mist and CA$47.95 for Niagara City Cruises, come from the operators' own pages and are quoted with attribution. Tour package prices are never reproduced here, because they move by date, party size and currency; the live price is always on the listing.
What we link to, and what we do not
Tour links go to GetYourGuide and Viator and carry rel="sponsored". Editorial links to operators, parks authorities and regulators are ordinary followed links and earn us nothing. We do not link to ticket resellers or coupon sites, and our external links are drawn from a fixed whitelist of primary sources compiled during research.
This site currently carries no hotel affiliate links. If that changes, this page changes with it.
Why this page exists
To comply with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission guidelines on affiliate relationships, and because you should be able to tell how a site makes money without having to work it out. If anything here is unclear, ask us on the contact page. Our about page sets out where every figure on the site comes from and what we refuse to publish.
